See the Broadway musical “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas,” which starts its run at the Ambassador Theatre, London’s West End, the Manchester Opera House and, for four weeks only, St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn, N.Y.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” features 12 of the songs written by Berlin for the film. “Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown” is one of the numbers, while there are also odes to Christmas movies, show tunes, and ad jingles.

The costumes for the show feature designs by Catherine Zuber, who also won an Emmy for her work on Fox’s “Empire.”

The mayor of New York City has put together a $50-per-person gold card giving access to Smithsonian museums and attractions. He introduced the card during the organization’s annual meeting at the new Hilton New York Hotel in the Time Warner Center.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of “The Lion King,” Disney plans to make the production — which plays at the New Amsterdam Theatre — available in practically every medium from video to podcasts. A movie is said to be in the works for the same theaters, but the director of the production, Julie Taymor, has denied the show would be converted into a movie.

Disney has announced two new movies inspired by princesses: The new “Tangled” movie will take place at the same place where the original film was set, in the Tower of London, and a new “Pocahontas” movie, starring Merida, will take place in a modern setting.
The tiny bits
Disney animators have gone “Minions” crazy, this time providing 24 tiny stickers to put on the wristbands with all of the videos in “Frozen.” The universal buttons and pins available online can be used on the app from Disney’s app store.
