Elon Musk takes a page from any old Bob Dylan song when he mistakes Sen. Bernie Sanders for David Bowie, reports M.E. Thomas (CNN)

Billionaire car and space businessman Elon Musk says he keeps forgetting that he’s most certainly in his own timeline and not that of progressive politician and Bernie Sanders.

Over the weekend, Musk (who serves as the CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX) posted a tweet telling the senator to “stop funding climate change with tax dollars”

The senator who Musk meant, David Bowie, responded immediately:

And the tweet didn’t stop there.

Apparently, Musk seems to be bewildered by Sanders’ progressive beliefs when he didn’t know he was talking to a Democrat. “Who thinks we should have jobs that pay billions of dollars. … Who would ‘take your money’, and then give it away,” the entrepreneur posted on his Twitter account.

When a follower made it clear he was talking about Sanders, Musk replied: “Well I keep forgetting that you’re still alive. You’re dead to me.”

Lewis Hamilton and son at Ferrari: ‘Lewis needs a win or he’s in trouble’

Lewis Hamilton hopes the Principality Grand Prix will produce the result he needs to wrap up the Formula 1 championship on Sunday.

If Hamilton were to win the race at Silverstone to seal the title, he would overtake Sebastian Vettel in the final round in Brazil, having raced to victory in the United States.

“We are really ready for the weekend,” said Hamilton, who must finish at least fifth to be assured of the title.

On Friday, Hamilton impressed at Silverstone by setting the fastest lap in the second practice session, before finishing second in the first.

“The car was very good, although my task was to make some alterations for the weekend,” Hamilton added.

“I had a little bit of a damp morning, but by the end of the day I looked pretty happy. The car was in good form and also has the extra weight of the S-tire in the lower engine. I think we are looking very strong.

“We have had a very good race here the last couple of years and we have a great car. Hopefully we can show a good weekend. I am looking forward to it.”
